A decade of teaching and coaching gave me something most community leaders lack: the ability to create environments where people feel genuinely seen, supported, and motivated to engage. That foundation shapes everything I build.

In 2017, I founded my first online community business, bootstrapping it to six figures through authentic connection and organic engagement strategies on Facebook. That experience taught me what most marketers miss: members stay when the value is mutual. The Community Challenge: In 2017, I saw a gap no one was filling, so I founded Soulpreneurs Association to fill it. Therapists building courses, heart-centered entrepreneurs building purpose-driven businesses, they had the passion and the expertise, but no ecosystem designed specifically for them. The existing platforms either felt too corporate or too scattered. They needed a home that honored both the soul of their work and the strategy behind sustainable growth. I decided to build it myself.

Strategic Vision & Implementation: I started with what I knew worked: authentic human connection. Rather than launching with a product, I launched with presence, going live on Facebook, showing up in communities, and having real conversations. By 2018, I had built an engaged community through a pure organic engagement strategy. No paid ads. No funnels. Just consistent visibility and genuine value.

The growth was validating, but I knew the community needed more than connection; it needed infrastructure. I developed a three-pillar ecosystem:

The Platform Development Approach: As the community matured, I identified the biggest bottleneck my members faced: content creation was consuming their time and killing their momentum. So we built SoulCast Studios, an AI-powered content engine using AWS Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Claude API, and AssemblyAI that transforms a single recording into 25+ personalized content pieces. Blog posts, social captions, email sequences, podcast show notes, all generated in their voice, reducing their content workload by 90%.

This wasn't about replacing the human element. It was about freeing my members to do what they do best, serve their clients and show up in their communities, while the system handled the rest.

I led every phase: scoping the architecture, developing with AI, testing workflows with real members, and iterating based on their feedback. The technology serves the community, not the other way around.

The Community Challenge: ImpressMP and our custom design team partnered to create a digital home for PawWorks, an organization dedicated to animal welfare and adoption. Beyond showcasing available pets, they needed a platform that would build a community of animal advocates, facilitate meaningful connections between potential adopters and rescue animals, and create an engaging space where supporters feel genuinely connected to the mission.

Division of Labor: Recognizing the scale of building this community platform, we worked closely with ImpressMP, who provided the initial mockups and overall design vision. Our team then took on the technical aspects, handling all custom code and infrastructure development. This collaboration allowed us to bring PawWorks' vision to life while fostering an environment where community members could actively participate in the rescue mission.

Custom Features for Community Engagement: To create authentic connections between the community and adoptable pets, we integrated features designed to spark emotional engagement:

The club's vision was clear: they didn't just want customers paying for access to equipment. Their clients were navigating one of the most vulnerable, expensive, and emotionally charged choices of their lives. The platform needed to do more than showcase properties. It needed to build trust, provide tools for informed decision-making, and create a sense of community support throughout the entire home-buying journey. The goal was to design a user experience that met clients exactly where they were, whether selling, buying, or exploring, while integrating complex third-party systems seamlessly.

Strategic Vision & Implementation: Working with Lewicki and Associates, I led the development of a comprehensive platform strategy focused on user journey design and technical integration. We began with a consultation to identify their specific goals and requirements. They needed features that would streamline their clients' home-buying journey, including a mortgage calculator, daily mortgage rates, home rates calculator, video review creator, property listings, and a custom review feed from Zillow.

The key was understanding that each visitor arrived at different stages of readiness. We designed distinct pathways for sellers, buyers, and explorers, ensuring clear calls to action matched to their specific needs. We integrated custom code to implement the requested calculators and tools, connecting external APIs including Zillow to provide real-time data and social proof.

The Platform Development Approach:

Leading the technical team, we built sophisticated infrastructure that balanced multiple objectives. The platform needed to establish Lewicki and Associates as neighborhood experts while providing practical tools that removed friction from the decision-making process. We created a visually captivating design that highlighted their local expertise through neighborhood showcases and community knowledge.

The technical integration work was critical. Mortgage calculators, video reviews, and Zillow integration required careful API management and seamless user experience design. Every feature served a dual purpose: practical utility for the client and trust-building for the business.
